Trial Balance

Overview

Trial Balance can be accessed from the sidebar menu by selecting the options Accounting > General Ledger > Trial Balance. This section will allow you to view the Trial Balance by year period. 

When first launching this option, you will see a comment saying 'Year Period filter required'. After selecting the year period, the grid below will populate with the accounts associated with that period.

Filtering

There are three filters on this screen: 

  1. Facility Filter: This is located at the top of the page. You can choose to select certain facilities or all facilities that the user has access to. 
  2. Year-Period Filter: Data does not appear until one is selected. 
  3. Balance Type: Year to Date or Month to Date. 
The grid will have the following data: 
Account Number & NameWhen the data populates, you will see a list of accounts. Clicking this will open the audit page for that Account & Year Period. 
DebitThis shows the debit amount for each account. 
CreditThis shows the credit amount for each account. 

At the bottom of the grid, there is also a totals that adds up all accounts with their total Credit & Debit amounts of that year period.
